Do you carry soft panniers or other luggage close to a motorcycle’s hot exhaust? This perforated metal exhaust heat shield mounts around the muffler area with a band clamp, creating a barrier between the exhaust and nearby bags or gear. It is intended for riders who need to reduce direct heat exposure around side luggage on touring or adventure setups.

Before ordering, compare the shield and clamp dimensions with your exhaust and available clearance, and install it securely without obstructing the exhaust outlet or contacting moving parts. A shield does not make a hot exhaust safe to touch or guarantee that every bag or material is protected from heat; keep luggage clear and follow the motorcycle and product installation guidance.
